The Making of Bandai Millennium Falcon 2015

Alex Tang

I have always like plastic models by Bandai. This Japanese makes the best plastic models I have ever assembled. It is unfortunate (for us) that these models are available only in Japan and not available for export. Whenever I go to Tokyo, I will make a special trip to Akihabara just to look for these plastic models. This is 1/144 scale Millennium Falcon: The Force Awakens is Bandai 2015 issue in preparation for the release of the movie of the same name.

It was a pleasure to assemble the model. There was no glue involved. Hence no fingers being stuck together. Each piece was precisely made to fit snuggly into the other. Every piece is unique. Even though the instruction was in Japanese (it was not meant for export), I was able to understand the manual. After completing the spaceship, I attempted to create a old and weathered appearance for the Millennium Falcon. I have had an enjoyable and relaxing time in this project.
