The throne of grace,
once a golden mercy seat, upon the tabernacle.
Where only one may approach once a year,
bringing blood and fear.
Sacrifices of innocents for the guilty,
One high priest stands before You.
The throne of grace,
now throne of forgiveness and love.
Where Yours may approach daily,
bringing life and joy.
Sacrifice of one innocent for all the guilty,
One High Priest stands before You.
The throne of grace,
now throne of the eternal kingdom.
Where Your Son approaches You,
bringing incense and prayers.
Sacrifices of the few for the many,
Many priests standing before You.
